Little kids are definately the best morale booster! I woke up this morning with the worst sore throat, I was so mad! I hate being sick, especially when I am pregnant and can't really take anything that helps! Anyway, I have felt like a bad Mom since Emma has been home from preschool. She has just been watching Peter Pan (It came out today!) and hanging out on the couch with me! Then she started trying to build her own fort. I remember when I was little, my Mom used to build the best forts for us! So since I really hadn't done anything too exciting for her all day I decided I would make a small and very PATHETIC fort for her. She was so cute as I was making it, and yelled "You are a Genius Mom!" And then after a little bit of sitting in it she asked for a blanket. I had her get out and added a blanket to the floor and she said "You are so amazing Mom!" Ahh! Somehow I am feeling much better now!

I used to love when we made forts- we'd use all the quilts in the house! It was so much fun having four little girls- daddy and I are so excited for you and Jon to have the experience and adventure of girls!!
cute pictures! emma is beautiful! building forts is so much fun, although I don't recall mason ever being quite that impressed with my forts! lol
you ARE and amazing mom! im so excited to come see you. do you remeber making forts in the family room in whittier? we would use moms magazines to hold the blankets, and they would fall on us in middle of the night!
