A (quick as I can) December Post!

Fairbanks Christmas Party

I feel like I have to start from where I left off! So I am going to try to sum up the past two months as fast as I can! We had a great Fairbanks Family Christmas party...I am pretty sure it was on the 8th of December. We played games, ate dinner, decorated cookies, had a white elephant exchange for the adults. Played the wii, and sang some kareoke! It was lots of fun just to all be together!

Playing a not-religious nativity story with candy bars...and yes that is Jana who won the candy!
Then it was time for some serious kareoke...this is Eric...and even Grandpa Wally joined in!

Emma's Birthday Party 12/15/07
Emma decided to have a cooking party for her fourth birthday. It was lots of fun to have her friends and cousins over. It was pretty crazy, and I learned lots with my first kids party. They played a fun M&M game, and then made pizzas, decorated cupcakes, opened presents....by then I was exhausted and still had an hour to go! I was VERY grateful for all the help! My mom, and sisters were there, and then Kim stayed with Anzley and Jana stayed with her boys! It was so fun to watch Emma...she was so excited!

President Hinckley

Only this could drag me out of a blogging block....I am so sad to hear that President Hinckley has passed away tonight. And at the same time I am so happy that he is back with his sweet wife. We were so lucky to have him as our leader of the church. He truly taught us to work hard, to endure, and to enjoy life. I loved his sweet sense of humor and his amazing ways of helping me understand the gospel better and have a desire to follow. I am so thankful for a guided man that was able to help carry the church across the world. He truly will be missed.
