Baby

I had my last ultrasound today, it was so much fun! I was really excited that Jon could make it (he finished a patient early and walked into the Dr. office just as they called my name!) For those of you who haven't seen a 3D ultrasound picture, they can be a little scary. Everything looks really good! She is about 4.5 pounds right now. Both the ultrasound tech and the Dr. said she looks chubby! I was so relieved, I want a chubby baby this time, Emma was too little! But now that I have thought about it, Emma had totally chubby cheeks even when she was tiny. In both pics you can see her little hands right next to her face. I am always totally amazed with how much you can see during an ultrasound. We were also happy to see that she for sure is a GIRL! We would have a lot of work to do in 6 weeks if we found out it was a boy now! We are really happy to know that she is healthy and growing, and will be here before we know it! Now we just need to agree on a name!

Those pictures are so cool...they look so real! I don't know, but i think she looks a little bit like me! Did Emma like looking at them? I'm so excited...which names are you deciding between?

Okay, whatever anyone says, she definitely has her favorite Grammie's eyes (me Jon, not Fran). How neat to see her and know her little spirit is getting ready to join your family. Can't wait to hold her close- hugs

It's funny cause I just read what you said about being teary- I did the same thing looking at these pictures and reading what Julie's husband wrote about her- sorry you inherited my weepy eyes!

Wow! She is so cute. Sorry, Susie she has my eyes I'm sure. We have never seen 3D before and it is wonderful. Can't wait to give her hugs and kisses too. 2 girls in a row what a wonderful blessing. You have done something I wish we could have. We are so happy to have granddaughters.

Mandy -how do you do the countdown to baby? I want to do one on my blog - louisvillemaxfields.blogspot.com, but do you have to manually update it every day? Just curious! Thanks!

Here she comes! Oh, I can't wait to see her in person. Very cool pics to have. Isn't it amazing where technology has gone! Hang in there...she needs to put on a few more pounds.
