Yeah! I made the goal to get all my scrapbooking stuff packed up by April 1st so I wouldn't have to worry about it after I have the baby. I almost made it. I finished at 3:00 April 2nd, but I am so proud of myself anyway. I did have to leave out a little bit of stuff. I am in charge of a class for Super Saturday on April 28th I am not teaching it I just designed it and I am prepping all the stuff for a different teacher...I can't say NO! Plus I HOPEFULLY will get baby announcements made and sent before we leave! And mom I promise I didn't take any boxes downstairs...I just stacked them in the corner. Oh and I have to admit there are 20 boxes of scrapbook stuff...Let's just say Jon is a VERY patient guy!
Of course Emma had to entertain herself while I was packing. I tried to be a cool mom and made her lunch and let her eat it on her bed, and I brought up our portable DVD player and let her watch movies. She mostly played and read books to herself. But boy did she make a MESS! I do not know how one 3 year old can make such a mess so fast it is amazing! At least she sort of tried to help me pick it up. I swear though between the scrapbooking stuff and cleaning her room, this baby should be here!
I had to quick add this picture. Chelsea made a great find at her Target! This is a Barbie dress from the new movie, I can't remember the exact title but something about rainbows. At her target they were on sale for $7 and we all know how much little girls like to dress up! Anyway it is so cute on her! I love it! Thanks Chels for always thinking of us!

Way to go! I kept seeing you fall down those steep stairs with a box in your arms- kinda like when I was pregnant with Whitney!! Love the dress on Emma- I think Chelsea secretly wishes she could still get away with wearing a dress like that! Tell Emma I'm excited too and I'll bring Wizard of Oz. Is she too young to see Wicked? I think she'd enjoy it lots.
I want a dress up like that. Emma is so cute. Mand, you are not a bad friend. Things get busy, and you are in Kentucky. Soon you will be closer and we can hopefully see you guys. I wish that I got into scrapbooking more. I paid a girl to do Deron's missionary scrapbook for Christmas. That is how terrible i am.
Yea! I have been waiting for your post on the scrapbook room (you said you were going to do it). It looks great! And also a little sad. It makes me feel like I need to get going too.
Emma looks so darling in the little dress up! Sophie is almost out of that phase, so I am so glad I have Lily to play with again.
Emma would get along great with my kids and making messes. She would probably love the Easter eggs too! I can't believe how much you have going on in your life all at once. Having a baby is crazy enough! But, you sound way organized and more sane than I think I would be.
I can't believe how soon you're going to have your baby! It's weird to think that last year at this time I was almost having Parker and you guys came to visit me in the hospital. Now it will be you in a few weeks (or hopefully days)! I'm excited that you guys will be so much closer...a weekend trip to Vegas is much more doable than a weekend trip to Louisville. Enjoy these last few nights of sleep (not that you're sleeping great, but probably better than you will be with a newborn!) Love ya!
Mandy- you are amazing!!! You can do more at 8 months pregnant than I can on my best day!!!
Wow- do you really have that much scrapbooking stuff????
