I can't believe that Sophie is sitting already (Sept 13th)! She is getting big way too fast! She is so fun! She will smile and laugh pretty much at anything! Like in this picture I couldn't get her to look at me...she is fascinated with Emma!
It only took Jon and I (almost) seven years to go back to where our reception was! It was so pretty and amazing how much everything had grown! While we were there we had to go see the animals too! Jon went to Cabella's last time we went so it was fun to have him along...except this time Emma was afraid to feed the goats....but they were pretty scary! Poor Sophie is just stuck in her car seat wherever we go!
Yesterday we took a drive around the Alpine Loop (Provo Canyon and American Fork Canyon) and stopped at Cascade Springs. There was a fire up there 3 years ago...and Jon and I hadn't been there for 5 years or so. It was sad to see the fire damage, but amazing to see how quickly nature recovers. There were so many new bushes growing up around the burnt trees. I was a little amazed with Jon's ability to find fish in the springs! He is so colorblind...and yet he can spot a brown trout in mossy brown water! I forgot what a pretty drive the Alpine loop is! Especially with all the fall colors starting to show!

Aunt Marcia and I think The Sofa has gotten so BIG!! It's amazing how much she looks like Emma and how CUTE CUTE CUTE she is. I miss seeing her every day- and Emma too!
Sophie really is getting HUGE! Her smile is SO cute...I love the little gummy smiles! You look really good too, by the way! I still feel like you live in Kentucky...we need to plan something! Check out my blog...we found out what we're having!!!
That looks gorgeous! I've never been there. Sophie is so dang cute! She looks so much like Emma.
I think you are a WONDER WOMAN! :o) (See my blog..)
Mandy, I know you don't know me, but I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your blog. I was in the 6th ward and taught the 4 year olds, so I got to sit behind Emma a lot in primary. She was always such a sweet little girl. Anyways, I linked to your page from Deanna's (hope you don't mind) so it's her fault :). I just wanted to say "Hi"...and that I love your blog layout too. Have a great day! Thanks for letting me spy.

Sophie is so cute! You are going to love having an eliptical! We have an eliptical and treadmill that I use everyday! It is way better having it at home than having to use at the gym! You look great!
You guys look like you are having so much fun! We REALLY need to get the kids together. You know we have STILL never met Emma!
That is so fun! I am so glad that you guys can do such fun things while Jon is still home. Take advantage of it. You can ake a nap, go to the store, what ever. Just have Jon spend some quality time with the kids. :)
hey! tell jon we already need another girls night out :). nice of jon to put the elliptical together so fast! I may need to get one of those........some day!
It is so nice that after the stress of school you guys can have this little break to spend so much time together as a family! I can't believe Sophie is so big already! Emma is a doll.
People just don't know what Fall is here in Houston. So sad! Enjoy it...looks like you guys had a great day!
Sophie is getting so big! What a darling, smilely girl.
You are doing some of my favorite Utah things. I will have to live vicariously through you!
