The Egg Dance
What a VIEW!!! The very top of Snowbird!
After all the hard work...Sophie crashed!
On Labor Day we went to Snowbird with the Stohl's. It was so fun to get away for the day and get outdoors! It was the first day of Oktoberfest. As my mom said...it was a good day for a beer and brats....I don't know about the beer...but I know Jon enjoyed the brat! While we were eating lunch, they called up couples to do the egg dance. Jon and I thought we would give it a try. They gave us a VERY cold hard boiled egg and we had to dance with it inbetween our forheads! Thanks to Matt for the great pictures! It was pretty tricky at first but we really got the hang of it! As long as I didn't move! Jon let me know it was down to three...then two....the other team got disqualified because it had rolled down to the bridge of their noses....JON AND I WON!!!!! It was pretty funny! We won free tickets on the tram or ski lift! So we went up the ski lift....It made me really nervous with Emma, so I was more than willing to take a SMALL hike to go down on the tram. Little did we know that it was an uphill switchback 20 minute hike! Jon was pretty amazing doing the whole thing with Emma on his shoulders! It was exhausting but so fun to go down the tram. Since I don't ski, I was pretty entertained! Sophie was the lucky one I carried her the entire way...while she just talked! It was so fun to do something with the Stohl's! It has been a little weird to adjust to seeing them everyday to once a month! And I think that the egg dance will definately be added to the Kershaw Family Activities! And Jon and I might need to return next year to keep our title!!!

That sounds awesome! I'm with Jamie. I have no idea exactly where you guys are and the Stohls. If you don't want to post it I'll catch it next time I get a good round of catch up from whoever I talk to!
Such a cute picture of you and The Sofa! For sure, the next Kershaw Family get together the egg dance is on the schedule- but can we do it with raw eggs? Glad you survived your fall with Sofa today- please be careful!

Do you think you could have won with both the girls in between you? I find that moments between Ryan and I are oftened dwarfed with a kid pushing in. Even when we are trying to talk. Great pictures of you are your cute family!

I remember going to Snowbird's Octoberfest. This time of year when you begin to feel fall in the air is great! How funny that you won the egg dance! You'll definitely have to go back to keep your title!
Can I just say that I miss you guys?! That looks like so much fun! And I am dying to see Sophie! I've said this before, but we need to do some serious catching up!
That looks like a lot of fun! I miss experiencing "Fall" and other seasons in Utah.
