Emma started preschool on Tuesday! She loved it! She has a great teacher and a great class. She was really excited to have lots of girls in her class, since last year it was mostly boys! But I am so glad that she has learned to play with boys too! They do show-n-tell every week with the letter of the week so if you have any great ideas pass them on!
I have to share our conversation on the way to school on Thursday....
EMMA: Mom, I really like those Africans.
ME: (WHAT!!!!) you do huh? The Africans?
EMMA: Yeah! I really like how they can move fast and slow and stuff.
ME: (Oh boy!) really??? Anything else?
EMMA: I think it's cool that they are from another Earth.
ME: (Confused for a minute)... OH!!! You mean the Aliens???
EMMA: Oh yeah the aliens!
We then had a little chat that Africans live in Africa on OUR Earth. And then I had to ask what she meant by slow and fast...she said like Robots! As I left from dropping her off I laughed the whole way home!!!

Aren't kids great?! What a cutie. She can't be old enough to be in preschool!!!
First day of school...soooo cute! She and Taylor would get along great with all the funny things they have to say we would be rolling on the floor for days!
So funny! Where do they come up with these things? Her dress is darling as well. We really need to get Emma and Addy together. They would have a great time!
What a funny kid. Sometimes you have to wonder where they pick this stuff up?!
Oh my gosh! That is too funny! You always wonder how kids interpret things...and how they repeat them to others! :o)
I'm so excited you put the picture up- I bet she has lots to tell her teacher every single day! Hope she's feeling better today- tell her Grammie says hi!
So cute Mand! She is adorable, and Ethan has fun with her. I think that seeing you and Jon, Ethan felt comfortable going his first day.
So cute! Wouldn't you just love to get inside her head to see how things are working in there? She's growing up so fast!
I love the conversation! Josh and I have always said we laugh a lot more now with kids then we ever did before. You just never know what kind of crazy thing kids will say or do next.
