So I am a few days late on getting this post on! I'm so happy to have Jon back and I have been sleeping much better at night! Well besides the trip to the restroom every other hour, but that is to be expected!
And a special thank you to Grandma Fran for the darling pink sparkly shoes, Emma loves them! Grandma also sent a cute little size Book of Mormon and a small children's music book for Emma to take to church. Actually we have been taking them in the car with us where ever we go!
Not too much else is going on here, other than I am trying to get as much packing done as I can! I had a Dr. appt again and it was pretty much the same news, NOTHING is happening. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for Easter weekend...that would be so great right before Jon's dental boards happen. We would have time to be home a few days before his big weekend started. We have WAY too much going on at once. But I am hoping with Jon finishing school, a new baby, a move across the country, that I will not have time to be sad about leaving! So far that isn't working out too well!
Thanks again Fran for the stuff for Emma she really loved it!

Good Mail and More
So I love this idea of Good mail. I am not sure if I really have gotten the right idea, so might have to read a little more in depth about it. But I think it is just sending and receiving stuff from the people you love, that makes your day so much better! I have to admit that on days when I know I am going to get a package I tend to go look out the window everytime I hear a truck engine. I even know the approximate time that UPS or Fedex will deliver! And even though 9 out of 10 times the package is for Emma, it still makes it such an exciting day. So anyway yesterday we received some Good mail from my sister Chelsea. She left here on Monday, knowing that Emma really wanted the Hello Kitty jammies from Target (our Target didn't have them in her size) Chelsea was so sweet that as soon as she got home she went and checked her store and sure enough they had the jammies. It took all of 2 minutes for Emma to have the Jammies on! She also sent my a flat iron for my hair...a really nice one that I have needed! Thanks Chels it was great to get a package, especially when we are alone and bored!
Alright I can't figure out how to turn this picture around in the blog...I love our new Apple computer but I am still trying to figure out how to use it! These flowers are from Jon and it was so great to get them. I made a big deal when we were engaged that I didn't want flowers for every little reason, and especially as a "Get out of trouble ticket." I haven't decided if it was a mistake or a good thing. I really haven't gotten flowers too many times, but every time he has brought them home or sent them to me, I totally remember and always feel so special. I tend to think quality is better than quanity! It was such a pleasant surprise to get them yesterday. I was in my room picking up (i will get to that in a minute) and Emma said Mom there is a guy at the door with flowers. I love all the colorful spring flowers! It really brightened my day. And it is nice to know that Jon feels bad about being away for so long. So thanks Jon for the beautiful flowers, I am glad that you will be able to see them in just 2 more nights! YEAH!
This picture really has nothing to do with good mail, more of just what I have been up to. I was totally bummed when it just didn't work out to have anybody come this weekend. Plane tickets were out of control. And I just think money could be better spent. Plus this baby is bound to come out sooner or later...and then my Mom will be here! It is really funny that when I was pregnant with Emma I had her room all put together and all her clothes washed and ready for her when I was 6 or 7 months pregnant. It made the end seem so long! Well this time I finally have gotten all the clothes washed and folded and put away! I still have to find several more things upstairs to be all the way done, but at least I made some progress! I also didn't really believe in the whole 'nesting' thing with Emma (maybe because our apartment was not hard to keep clean) but Thursday night all of the sudden I had this huge burst of energy (I have been so tired with Jon gone and only getting 5 or 6 hours of sleep) and I knew I had to clean the kitchen. So I was scrubbing every little thing. I am not sure if it falls under the nesting stage or if I am realizing how much needs to be done before the baby comes and before we move! Which will all be happening in the next 7 weeks! Oh and just to update on Jon being gone. I am actually doing pretty good now. I have gotten over the pizza guy coming back. And I actually got in bed at 11 last night. But I am so excited for Jon to get home!

My Celebrity Look-alikes
My cool celebrity look-alike collage from MyHeritage.com. Get one for yourself.
This was a fun little website that my sister Lindsey showed me forever ago. I just remembered it and wanted to give it a try. It is pretty funny!

Hump Day

Ok so officially I am half way done with Jon being gone...so excuse this post it will mostly be my way of venting! It kind of started last night when i ordered a pizza. I know this sounds harmless. But when the pizza guy got out of his car, he was a little scary. And when he came up to the door he told Emma how cute she was and asked her name, I was so shocked I blurted out Emma. This was one of those moments that I wished I said Ashley or something (although, Emma probably would have said 'no it's not it's Emma, mommy') So I was up all night pretty sure that the pizza guy was going to return! I am sure that he was just being nice, but my brain is fried from pregnancy so I can only think the WORST possible scenerio. Today was by far the hardest day...Today just started off on the wrong foot. Emma was so impatient this morning she kept yelling at me to hurry and do this and do that (I know unbelievable, but I am telling the truth) Then it was off to preschool for her (yeah!), and off to the Dr's for me (no progress! Not a surprise!) Anyway I felt like I was constantly telling Emma to be nice, and be patient, all day. In the car tonight on the way home from dropping off some super saturday stuff, I decided maybe I would feel better if I just apoligized to Emma for being crabby all day (weird to say sorry to a kid, but it always makes me feel better) Anyway she was so cute...she said you have been nice mommy, you played with me, and you haven't been naughty at all. It was so sweet, and definately put a better spin on our evening. But I must admit, when she fell asleep i felt like singing. (I have the WORST voice ever) Now I am bored and could probably find some excuse to call somebody. But like I mentioned before my brain is fried and I don't know how well the conversation would go! Well now that I have gotten this all out I feel like hitting the delete button! I also feel much better. Now hopefully the pizza guy won't appear and I can go to sleep! Oh and Jon has already given me next week off! That is also making me feel better!

New Arrival!

Emma and I love the Louisville Zoo, it is so pretty and has some great animals to see! We were so excited when we heard last year that one of the elephants was expecting a baby. And the baby would be born shortly before we left! Last night the baby arrived, weighing 285 pounds (thank heavens my baby will not be that BIG!) It was a baby boy, and they haven't named him yet! We can't wait to go see him! They say that they will remain off exhibit giving them time to bond, hopefully we will be able to see him before we move!

New Hair Cut

It is so great every time I see my sister Chelsea! She does a great job doing hair. I wanted to show my new do! I had to take the pic myself on the computer...Emma and Chelsea are playing upstairs...I really didn't want to interrupt! Thanks Chels...it always feels great to get a little pampering!

...And he's OFF!!!
My lucky, lucky husband is on his way to Utah! He left tonight and won't be back for eleven days! Now before anyone gets mad at him for leaving his 8 month pregnant wife alone with his 3 year old, let me explain that I really had to talk him into going. Jon works so hard in dental school...but he also enjoys every break he can get. Now that dental school is wrapping up (YEAH!) I know he won't be able to take time off with out worrying about money and about a growing practice! So I sent him on his way, reassuring him that my family would take care of me. Chelsea flies in tomorrow morning until Sunday. I am so bummed that the weather has gotten cold again. We might just have to go see movies or something. And then next weekend hopefully Whitney or Lindsey can come out. But my mom has also said that if she is more than willing to come out. So with that said I hope Jon has a great break with his brothers (they intend to do a lot of fly-fishing, and I intend to make as much fun of them as I can)! And I will probably be making daily updates to my blog since I will be bored out of my mind at night! I just realized I also need to say thanks to the many friends who have offered their help and support while Jon is gone! It really means a lot to me to know that I can call any husband in the middle of the night when I hear all the weird sounds! Thanks everyone!
