Alright here is another picture of Emma...she was pretending to be a monkey at the zoo yesterday. It was such a nice day, we ended up spending 3 hours at the zoo just walking around. Also we were able to have a really fun date night with our friends. The belly pic (thanks, Matt), was supposed to be a pic of the girls, but I thought those of you who haven't seen me since Christmas would enjoy...I know I'm HUGE! We went with some couples from Dental school to go and play laser tag. One of the girls pointed out that it was pretty funny that we were the oldest ones there and with 5 Dr's or soon to be Dr's! But we had a blast. Although there were 3 8-10 year old boys that stalked me and just kept shooting me no matter where I went (I was a pretty easy target!) I think I came in 42nd or 43rd out of 45 people! (OUCH)! Jon did great he came in 5th! I haven't played laser tag since my freshman year of college and I must admit is was SO much fun! And it is always nice to go out with friends! We had a blast!

FINALLY some good weather!
I have been dying to go outside! I am so excited for spring to get here. There seems to be so much more to do outside, instead of sitting inside. I am so sick of movies!!! Anyway Emma got to play outside with her friend Anzley. They both tried flying the kite and colored with chalk on the sidewalk. It was such a great day! Hopefully it will continue to be nice and we can enjoy the outdoors!

I'm a GENIUS!
Little kids are definately the best morale booster! I woke up this morning with the worst sore throat, I was so mad! I hate being sick, especially when I am pregnant and can't really take anything that helps! Anyway, I have felt like a bad Mom since Emma has been home from preschool. She has just been watching Peter Pan (It came out today!) and hanging out on the couch with me! Then she started trying to build her own fort. I remember when I was little, my Mom used to build the best forts for us! So since I really hadn't done anything too exciting for her all day I decided I would make a small and very PATHETIC fort for her. She was so cute as I was making it, and yelled "You are a Genius Mom!" And then after a little bit of sitting in it she asked for a blanket. I had her get out and added a blanket to the floor and she said "You are so amazing Mom!" Ahh! Somehow I am feeling much better now!

Baby

I had my last ultrasound today, it was so much fun! I was really excited that Jon could make it (he finished a patient early and walked into the Dr. office just as they called my name!) For those of you who haven't seen a 3D ultrasound picture, they can be a little scary. Everything looks really good! She is about 4.5 pounds right now. Both the ultrasound tech and the Dr. said she looks chubby! I was so relieved, I want a chubby baby this time, Emma was too little! But now that I have thought about it, Emma had totally chubby cheeks even when she was tiny. In both pics you can see her little hands right next to her face. I am always totally amazed with how much you can see during an ultrasound. We were also happy to see that she for sure is a GIRL! We would have a lot of work to do in 6 weeks if we found out it was a boy now! We are really happy to know that she is healthy and growing, and will be here before we know it! Now we just need to agree on a name!

My DRAMATIC sister!
Alright when I read my sister's blog this moring I had to laugh a little. She had one of those days where everything seems to be a little off. If your day seems a little crazy, you should take a minute to ready her blog (Lindsey). At least at the end she can see the light, that things are turning around, and still be able to count her blessings! I am so proud of her!

Pet Issues
Alright I just wanted to give a pet update. We really have pet issues. Our mean beta fish (Mercy) killed our poor little frog ally! It happened about a week ago. Every time I came in the room the fish had the frog cornered! So Emma has been asking where ally is hiding and Jon and I have just changed the subject, trying to figure out what on earth to do. So finally today I made a trip to the pet store and bought a little bowl with two frogs in it. One that looks just like Ally and then another one. And told Emma that we were worried that the fish was being too mean to the frog so we had to seperate them. Now I feel like we have animals all over the house! But at least we are not mixing animals anymore. Now if anything happens I think we are officially done! I can't believe how much money we have spent just on fish and frogs!

Little Helper
Now that I am getting so close to the end of my pregnancy (yikes! and Yeah!) It is getting a little hard to bend over and pick up. Emma has really picked up the slack. She is our little snow white, washing the dishes (which was really a big bowl in the sink with water in it, I love what amuses kids, I don't know why I bother with toys!) And her new thing is to wash the windows with a squirt bottle, I figure until it gets warm there is no harm in this activity. She is also busy collecting all my shoes that I take off and putting them in my closet for me. Well maybe I should say throwing them in...maybe I should put a picture of the bottom of my closet too! She really has enjoyed the responsiblilty and has been pretty good with helping me pick up! Now if I could just teach her to put my socks on for me...I would really be in business! P.S. Corey if you happen to look at this, about your comment on her side pont-tail...It is actually only a little part of her hair pulled out of her face...Which pretty much every little girl wears her hair that way! And it takes me about 30 seconds to do her hair like this, plus little to no whining that I am pulling her hair!
