Ok I can't believe it is already December! We had a crazy November and I kept meaning to blog...and kept putting it off! So here goes our month....
Las Vegas
We went to Las Vegas with the Stohl's and Taylor's for a dental conference! It was so great to have a little break! It was very nice to sleep ALL the way through the night! And much needed. It was great to shop and have 3 hour breakfasts just chatting...while the poor guys had to get up early and be at the conference. Then we went to the Ellen's Big Show...which was pretty entertaining! And went to a medieval show another night! My poor girls spent a night somewhere different every night! First Emma went to Jeff (Jon's brother) and Jarrica's and Sophie went to Brandon (Jon's Brother) and Jana's, who loved having a baby girl in their house! I think she got lots of loves! Then my sister Lindsey watched them at Wally and Fran's until they got home from a play. And then the next night my parents came and got them on the way to a cabin they rented for Thanksgiving (more info on that...) But I think they had a great time!
Thanksgiving
Right when we got back we headed up to the cabin by the Canyon Resort. It was awesome. We played lots of games, and lots of Wii. Guitar Hero was definately a favorite. Thanksgiving dinner was so nice....but over way too fast! There wasn't any snow up there (now there's tons) Personally I was ok with it...but I know my Dad, Jon, and Dan would have loved to go skiing! We really missed Ryan and Whitney but it sounds like they had a great time on their cruise!
BYU vs utah
Can you tell which team we were cheering for??? What an awesome game! If you were a cougar fan you went from excited because it looked like you were going to win...to total shock that you were now behind with only 1:30 left in the game.....to total happiness, (i'll be honest there were a few tears!) that BYU pulled off a last minute (literally) touchdown (30 seconds left in the game!) We went with Jon's brother Eric (A big utah fan) and his wife Holly and my mom and dad and Lindsey! Eric made great shirts (Totally intoxicated, by intoxicated he meant with football...not with alchohal) to make fun of the totally invested shirts from BYU. Unfortunately because he didn't have a licsence he got shut down. But even as a BYU fan I thought they were pretty funny. Some cougar fan wanted to know how he could get one in blue! If you are a Utah fan it was a pretty rough game....and they pretty much handed BYU their TD!

Mandy! So fun to meet with old friends and have a relaxing time! Quinn and I just got back from a 9 day cruise...I missed my kids, but it was so worth it! I can't believe what a difference it makes to sleep all through the night! BTW-- guitar hero is a definate favorite around here too! So fun!
Glad you had a great Thanksgiving, etc. We also have invested some time into Guitar Hero on occasion. Maybe over Christmas we'll have to all get together and jam. I won't brag, but I can do Expert level on a few songs... :)

YAY! An update!!!! Looks like you had a fun November! Even though Parker sleeps through the night, it would be SO NICE just to be able to go to bed late without having to wake up as early as he does! I wish we could have seen your family over Thanksgiving...oh well...one of these days!
You've been a busy girl! Sounds like a lot of fun. The cabin thing sounds great...I'll have to ask your mom about it. Lucky you could sit and chat over a long breakfast with the girls while Jon went to the fun and exciting classes on dentistry. I can remember trying to stay awake during a few of those myself. Glad you had such a good time, and I'm glad you blogged about it.
Your cabin looks awesome! That would have been a blast! Oh and I am so jealous you got to see Waveny. I want to go to dental conferences, toO!
What a fun month! I love that I get to see you even if it is just for a minute dropping the kids off. Ethan had been thinking of what he can get Emma for her birthday. You guys rea the best, and I wish we got to spend more time together!

Ron has that "Fully Invested" BYU shirt, but that Utah one is HIL-AIR-EE-OUS!! We want one! (We have no problem with the black market...) :o)
I love the look on Emma's face for the Thanksgiving post: it's like, "Hey, I'm tired of waitin' for some food!!" :o)
I realize that I'm totally late on this post, but the lack of internet in my new house prevents me from blogging much.
I freakin' love the T-shirts. How funny. The game was very intense. I have to admit, I had given up on BYU, thank goodness they finally pulled it off! (for the SECOND year in a row.) Go Cougs!
Vegas looks like it was so much fun!!! Once again, WE MISS YOU ALL! How nice to have a getaway without any little ones to take care of! We took the boys to Nashville after Thanksgiving, and Cory and I needed a vacation afterwards! Hopefully we'll catch up over Christmas. Love you guys!
I haven't checked you blog in the longest time. I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving and Vegas trip. Can't wait to hear about Christmas.
Just wanted to let you know we got your card and it was sooo cute! Thanks for sending it! I didn't have your address this year, so if I get my gear together and back to the post office, again (with 3 kids) you will get one from us. If not, then you know why! Anyway...Merry Christmas!
