So I am a little behind seeing as how this is my third post for the day. But I got my LASIK surgery done on thursday and I have been enjoying every minute of being able to see. I was going to post a picture of my left eye that is all red from the suction ring...but I couldn't take a pic without making a VERY weird face. I was SUPER nervous going in! Thank heavens for a small dose of valium...I maybe could have used a little larger though! The worst part of the whole thing was when a suction ring popped off my left eye. Otherwise it was over in a few minutes! It took a few hours for my eyes to adjust, everything seemed ultra bright, but by 11 pm I was watching the news and reading everything to Jon! It has only gotten better the past few days! I am still in total awe that a small surgery can help me see perfect! So once again thanks mom and dad! Oh and a big thanks to Jarrica for watching Sophie, and to Holly for letting Emma spend the night. And to Jon for taking control of everything the next day and letting me relax my eyes!

Mike would be SOOOO jealous! He wants Lasik so bad! It's nice to actually know someone who's had it done! Glad to hear it's not too bad. What a cool thing to have your eyes fixed so easily!!!
I have been thinking about you, and I am so glad that things went well. I am so happy for you! NO MORE GLASSES!!!!
