A Great Weekend!

***note: I have to apoligize for the million pictures I just had too hard of a time elimanating them down!***

We had so much fun this past weekend. We finally found a weekend that all of the Fairbanks and the Kershaw's could get together to bless Sophie. My parents and Ryan and Whitney flew in from California on Friday night, and bright and early saturday morning we went to breakfast and then went to Thanksgiving Point to the Farm. My mom took Emma and Sophie into the farm by herself while Chelsea, Lindsey, Whitney and I went in to the Shade Clothing half yearly sale...I don't know how many shirts we bought (or rather my mom bought, she was nice enough to say it was her treat) I know I got 7 shirts for Emma and me, I would love a count from the rest, I would guess around 50 and it was only $126! It was a great deal! Anyway we walked around and caught up to my mom and fed the goats! Emma was really brave and fed the animals too! There was a goat that got a little too friendly with my mom and was trying to eat her earring out of her ear! Then we had to hit Cafe Rio for Ryan and Whitney, that place is a madhouse...but very good!!! Then we dropped the girls off at Jon's brothers house...and all the adults hit The Simpson's Movie! It was pretty funny, and of course my mom slept through some of it! But I did hear her laugh quite a few times so she can't claim that she doesn't like the Simpson's! Then My mom and dad took a drive to Herriman with us (probably where Jon will practice and we will live) It is so pretty there! Then we went to Brandon and Jana's (another of Jon's brothers') and enjoyed Fireworks, Kareokee, and some ice cream! It was a non stop crazy day but so fun!

Sunday was a very early morning, church started at 9 am! I was very impressed that all 36 of us arrived early! Jon gave Sophie such a beautiful blessing! And she behaved pretty good! I just heard that she would not stop wiggling! Then it was back to Wally and Frans for lots of food, funny stories, children running around, and lots of talking! The day ended when I took Whitney and Ryan to the hotel around 11 after playing Sequance (Whitney and I were on a team we killed Jon and Ryan 4-1!) It was so fun to all be together, I love that Jon's family and my family get along so great! And most of all I am very happy that we don't have a heathen child now that she is blessed!

Mmmmmmm Cafe Rio--oh, how I miss it! Trevor's mom told us that you blessed the baby last Sunday. Totally jealous about the Shade sale. I got the email advertisement for it, but alas...
Cute pictures. Cute family. Let us know what happens with the practice!

What a cute family you have. It is going to be so nice for you to be back in Utah and finally get yourself settled. One thing about it, dentists don't move too much so this may be a pretty final destination for you. You'll have to let us know how things progress. How exciting!! Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend! love you lots!!!
