For anyone who doesn't know my family is 4 girls! It was so awesome growing up with just sisters! My dad was the king of the household and just to make sure it was fair he came up with a point system he had 10 points, my mom had 5 points, and each girl had 1 point. He thought he was pretty smart because no matter what he won! As each of us got married the boy tally has increased....and as of Friday the boys evened the match! Thank heavens for my girls! Girls are barely holding on to a WIN!
My sister Lindsey and Matthew tied the knot on friday! It was such a great day! They got sealed in the Salt Lake Temple by Elder Holland. It was an unforgettable experience to be taught in the temple by an apostle! It was also awesome to be in the Temple with my entire family! (Thanks to Karen, Meghan, and Ashley for watching my girls at the Temple!) Wedding days can be so exhausting with kids! But my girls were great! The reception was awesome and so much fun! (Thanks to my Aunt Marcia for stealing Sophie and feeding her, so I could enjoy, and thanks to Wally and Fran for taking her home and putting her to bed so I could stay to the end!) Linz and Matthew even had their wedding dance choreographed, which was way cuter than I thought it would be! Although still a little dorky! And when they left they ran through everybody holding sparklers! It was amazing and I can't wait to see pics! The little lovebirds are in BORA BORA now honeymooning away....and yes it's hard not to be a little jealous!
PS: Coming Soon.....Emma's preschool graduation, and Emma's Dance Recital!

I had so forgotten daddy's point system- he was so sad the day you girls figured out he had rigged it so you'd never win! Can't wait to see the preschool pictures! It was an amazing weekend, wasn't it? And one day soon, you and Jon will be basking in the sun of Bora Bora too!
The picture of the girls on the bench is very cute. I think we're all a little jealous of Bora Bora.
The whole wedding day was awesome! I'm sad my kids didn't make it to the end of the reception....Parker would've loved the sparklers! What a fun idea! Anyway, don't feel bad for not saying bye...we kind of left abruptly...I called my brother to tell him we'd left! We'll have to get together soon...let me know when you're going to be in Utah for a while. You're going to Cali soon, right? That will be a crazy day if the boys ever take over the girls in your family!
SOO cute! I've missed you! Your sister's wedding dress is beautiful! And I love your black and white dress! :o) Looks like an awesome day!
I can't be jealous cause I have no idea where Bora Bora is, but I will be because I'm sure it is a fabulous vacationing spot and I will soon (tomorrow) be stuck in a hospital. Everything was beautiful. How in the world did they score and get Elder Holland to seal them?
I can't imagine what it would be like if one day the boys do out number the girls!!
I read this post a few days ago, then last night I dreamed that you and I were carpooling to your sisters wedding because she was marrying my cousin. ??? It turns out I was driving your car and rear-ended someone and made you miss your sisters entire reception. Needless to say, I'm glad it was a dream, and remind me to never drive your car!
What a beautiful couple they make! You have a pretty good looking family! the girl looks so cute in there dresses. I love watching others getting married in the temple now that I have been married. I'm glad it was a neat experience for you all!
