January and up to now can pretty much be summed up in two words: SNOW SNOW SNOW & SICK SICK SICK! I can't believe how much it has snowed this year! If I remember right I think in the first week of the new year there were 4 storms that came through! When we started talking about moving to Utah, Jon asked if I would be ok with the Snow. I told him sure, I had lived here for 5 years and it didn't snow that much! Well I was wrong....it snows like crazy! With the snow has come lots of colds and other crap (I hate that word...but it's the only one that really states how I feel!) Sophie got RSV, I was really nervous, but we were lucky and it was only bad for about 5 days. She didn't have to do any breathing exercises or anything. She got an ear infection on top of it, and then a few days later passed it all onto Emma. The worst part of RSV was that it is so contagious that we were pretty much stuck inside for 2 1/2 weeks! I thought I was going to go crazy! On our last doctor visit, the doctor told us that we were probably just adjusting to moving here, and it would probably take a year to get used to! After hearing this news I called my mom and planned a two week trip to sunny California! Hopefully the sun will melt away all of our germs! We leave tomorrow and are so excited to see everyone there!

January to present....
On a side note I realized I forgot to mention the most important news.....Jon finally purchased the Practice in Herriman December 3rd! It has been a little bit stressful getting used to the business part, however he is loving the dentistry! It will be good for us to get out of his hair for a bit, so he can just worry about the practice!

I can understand how you feel. I am so sick of snow. It hasn't snowed as much here, but still more then is has in about ten years. I am ready for spring!!! I'm jealous you get to go to California, have fun!!

Wow. I could've titled a post the SAME thing.... snow snow snow, sick sick sick!! Instead of respiratory bugs though, we've had stomach bugs and it's been nasty- I heard the same thing, that it'll take a year to adjust, but I sure hope not- at least we don't plan on moving again! Yuck! Congrats on the practice- it's a lot of work, but so worth it!
RSV...that is so scary!!! Hopefully by the time you get back, Spring will almost be here! I'm SO SICK of snow and winter! I could use some California sunshine!

I hope you are having a great time in CA. My parents are there and they are actually going to "Wicked" tonight (LOVE it!). And I am hoping you all are well! Bummer of a month.
Having sick kids is so hard...EVERYONE starts to get cabin fever. Hopefully you guys are all better now. We've been to Utah twice this winter and both times got hammered with yucky sicknesses. Congrats on the practice. That is so exciting! Thanks so much for sending the package. I did get it...I've just been slow at letting you know. Hope you are enjoying CA!
